Porta (Door) in Nikia

And yet it is not a door or a gate but a square. More specifically it is probably the most picturesque square in the Greek islands. Porta Square is the central square of Nikia. It has an ellipsoidal shape and a stunning pebble floor that bears the signature of the 19th-century Nisyrian craftsman, Paschalis Paschalakis. It is surrounded by restored mansions with colorful doors and windows, but also the beautiful church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary, elements that make up a beautiful scenery.
